My name is Jonathon C.A. Blevins and I am here to help you. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I relocated to Florida where I attended The University of Florida and Barry University School of Law. I graduated in the top 1/3 of my law school class and was selected as the Chief Justice of The Moot Court Honor Board.
After law school, I was an Assistant State Attorney in Ocala, Florida. As an ASA, I handled cases that ranged from minor, criminal traffic infractions to first degree felonies, punishable by life sentences. I represented the State of Florida against a host of defendants to ensure justice was served for victims. After serving the State of Florida, I relocated to Orlando.
Before joining Dan Newlin & Partners, I spent years representing large insurance companies. While representing insurance companies I gained valuable insight regarding how insurance companies operate and how they review claims. I litigated a plethora of different types of cases from low impact car accidents to wrongful deaths. Thus, I know the strategies employed by these large companies and how to use this knowledge to your advantage.
I am also active in the community. I am a member of the Orange County Bar Association and George C. Young First Central Florida Inn of Court. I serve as a volunteer judge and adviser for the Orange County Teen Court Program as well as a volunteer coach for national Moot Court teams at Barry University School of Law.
I bring the trial skills learned as a prosecutor and the knowledge gained as an insurance company attorney to your side. If you want someone that will fight for you and do everything to get a just result, then I am your attorney.
