Hello, I am Gina Garcia. Thank you for taking the time to read my biography.
Ever since I could remember, I knew I wanted to be an attorney. Growing up, I watched my grandfather dedicate his entire life to being the best attorney he could possibly be. I admired the work ethic, passion, and dedication my grandfather had for every single client. I knew one day, I wanted to be just like him.
I began my legal journey as I interned for a local firm where I worked primarily in the Immigration Department. My internship soon turned into a five year permanent position where I had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients with their immigration matters. It was such a rewarding experience helping clients achieve what they often referred to as their “dream.”
A year after graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, I began my law school journey at Barry University School of Law. During law school, I was involved in various activities, including serving as an editor for Barry’s Law Review as well as President of the Immigration Law Society. I also worked as a summer legal intern for firms helping clients on criminal, family, and bankruptcy matters. These experiences only made me more passionate in helping advocate for clients who often feel voiceless and need someone to help guide them through difficult times. As an attorney, I want nothing more than to provide that peace of mind and sigh of relief for clients.
In December of 2021, I graduated top two of the Fall Class of 2021 at Barry University School of Law. Upon passing the Florida Bar, I was offered the incredible opportunity to work as an Associate Attorney here at Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys.
